Passion-driven work on high-performance electric vehicles — from UC Berkeley's solar-powered race car to one of the earliest EV conversion supercars.
CalSol — UC Berkeley Solar Vehicle Team: Served as Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT) team lead, designing the power electronics that extract peak energy from the solar array under varying conditions.
Wrightspeed X1 Prototype: One of only three engineers who built this proof-of-concept electric supercar — a converted Ariel Atom that demonstrated EVs could outperform gasoline sports cars.
Responsible for all wiring from the dashboard to the motor controller in the rear of the Wrightspeed X1, ensuring reliable high-voltage connections in a compact, high-performance chassis.
Volunteered personal time on the Wrightspeed project as a true passion project and witnessed the X1 race at Sears Point Raceway (Sonoma Raceway).
